The Shivapuri National Park has a wealth of flora and fauna and there are several walks of around 4-8 hours long that are available from Shivapuri Heights Cottage.

We strongly recommend that you book a guide and a packed lunch with us since often the trails can be hard to find. The cost is around Rs 2500 per person plus the park entrance fee which is Rs 1200 per person (subject to change/Sept 2022). Advance booking is required.

Note that trails are generally good but some can be steep and off the beaten path. You need to be reasonably fit.
